Screener Tradingview setting

 To set up a daily Exponential Moving Average (EMA) cross screener for Bursa Malaysia (BSKL) stocks on TradingView, configure the filters in the Stock Screener panel as follows:

1. Market & Timeframe Setup

• Open the Stock Screener panel (bottom left or via Products menu).
  
  
• Set Symbol / Market to Malaysia (MYX / BSKL).
  
  
• Set the Timeframe dropdown to 1D (Daily).
  
  

2. Basic Filters (Filter out penny/illiquid stocks)

• Exchange: MYX (Bursa Malaysia)
  
  
• Volume: Greater than 100K (or adjusted based on your liquidity needs)
  
  
• Last Price: Greater than 0.10 MYR (to avoid sub-penny penny stocks)
  
  

3. EMA Cross Technical Filters

To screen for a bullish crossover (e.g., Short-term EMA crossing above Long-term EMA):

• Bullish Crossover (e.g., EMA 9 crossing above EMA 21):
  
  
  • Select filter: Exponential Moving Average (9)
    
    
  • Condition: Crosses Up
    
    
  • Target parameter: Exponential Moving Average (21)
    
    
• Alternatively, for Price Crossing EMA (e.g., Price crossing above EMA 20 or EMA 50):
  
  
  • Select filter: Exponential Moving Average (20)
    
    
  • Condition: Crosses Down
    
    
  • Target parameter: Price (meaning Price is crossing UP above EMA 20)
    
    
• Trend Alignment Filter (Optional):
  
  
  • Add: Exponential Moving Average (50) is above Exponential Moving Average (200) to ensure screening only takes place within an overall uptrend.
    
    

Once configured, save the preset via the screen menu as "BSKL Daily EMA Cross" for quick access.
